Early December Fun

Mike and Kristie with Dave and Mandy

Since December 1st, Mike and I have been having lots of fun. On December 5th, Arctic Lights Candle Co. participated in the Tanana Valley Farmers’ Market. We had a blast seeing former vendors and customers!

On Friday and Saturday of this weekend, Mike and I watched the UAF Nanooks Hockey Team play the University of Nebraska Omaha. On Friday, the Nanooks dominated the Mavericks and walked away with a win. Saturday night was a different story. The Mavericks came out in full force and walloped the Nanooks.
This afternoon, we drove around North Pole with our neighbors looking for fun picture spots. It was 15 below zero at the time. It made for some VERY cold pictures!

Here are a few pictures from our “adventures” from the past couple of weeks. We are now gearing up for Christmas. Watch for more posts as we get closer to December 25th.

God bless!

Or is it, a hockey game breaks out at the fight?

  1. Love the pic of you guys with Dave & Mandy. :-) I find it ironic and very cool that you have friends with names like ours!!

I also appreciate your pictorial homage to the Zamboni driver. Did you offer to help him out during one of the intermissions?

    Merry Christmas!!
