Our Alaskan Garden

As I mentioned in an earlier post, we are getting almost 22 hours of daylight. The sun rises at 2:57 a.m. and sets at 12:47 a.m. With all this sunshine, many Alaskans have some incredible gardens.

While ours is not so incredible, we still have a small modest garden with tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cucumbers, egg plant and sunflowers.

Broccoli will be good when it's harvested.

Our tomato plants are a little slow to produce.

We have our first baby cucumber!

When this little seedling grows up, it will be an egg plant.

Yippee for baby green peppers!

Each of these cups contains sunflowers.
