Well, it is August 9
th and we are starting to see the first hints of fall colors here in the Interior of Alaska! It does seem way too early to see yellows and reds. However, here are the pictures that I was able to take this afternoon. I also included some pictures of my garden that is getting really big, but not producing much.
The birch trees are starting to show a touch of yellow.
Oh,
nooooo, not yellow leaves!
Yes, indeed, these leaves are yellow.
Quick, if I cover this single leaf over, no one will see it.
Maybe that will mean winter not just around the corner!
The ground cover is starting to turn a deep red.
It won't be long until the high bush cranberries are ready to pick!
