Mike and I, and our friends Chuck and Dawn Lincoln, left frigid North Pole on Friday for beautiful, tropical Hawaii. As we were flying from Fairbanks to Anchorage, we passed majestic Mt. McKinley. The top of the mountain was sticking up out the clouds. What an incredible site! When we arrived in Honolulu the temperature was a balmy 75 degrees! We immediately saw green grass and green leaves on trees. We even saw flowers!!!! Ahhhh, life is good!
On Saturday, Mike, Chuck, Dawn and I drove the the North Shore. We found lots of good picture opportunities. On Sunday, we hiked Diamond Head, went snorkling at Hanauma Bay, watched the sunset and then went out for a nice dinner and a drive up in the mountains to have a view of the city light.
More pictures will come!

The North Shore is famous for Shaved Ice.
We stopped and watched the waves at Shark's Cove.
We also stopped and enjoyed the views at Turtle Bay.
I sure hope Mike's back is okay after this picture!
