From Haines to Juneau: A Plethora of Stuff!

Wow!  What a day!  Mike and I saw some incredible sights on our trip on the Fjords Express from Haines to Juneau.  On the 2 hour "cruise" we spotted a pod of orcas, a mass breaching of sea lions (we smelled them, too), Eldred Rock Lighthouse (100 years old) and a host of other fun things.  Check out the pictures below!

Tomorrow, we will put our car on the Alaska Ferry and sail to Skagway for two days and then it's off to Whitehorse and Haines Junction in the Yukon Territory.

Chilkat Mountain Range

July 6th was the opening day for commercial salmon fishing.
Boats were out in full force!
